Know a proposal team that should be using Flowcase?

Consultants, freelancers, community leaders and customers introduce us to professional services firms every week. We have a referral program to make those introductions worth your time.

One warm introduction to the right proposal, marketing or bid leader is worth more to us than most campaigns. If the firm becomes a Flowcase customer, you share in the result.

Jenna M.Proposal consultant, SMPS member

Hi Dipesh, meet Anna. She runs the proposal group at a 1,400-person engineering firm in Denver.

Her team is still rebuilding resumes from old Word files for every pursuit, and she told me last week she wants a proper system before Q2.

Anna, Flowcase is what I recommend to firms your size for this exact problem. I'll let you two take it from here.

The proof behind winning bids at

Built for people who already sit close to proposal teams

You do not need to sell anything. You need to know who is struggling with resumes, project sheets and proposal data, and be willing to make an introduction.

Consultants and advisors

Proposal consultants, bid strategists, marketing advisors and tech advisors who work inside professional services firms and see how experience data is managed today.

Typical referral: a client you are helping fix their proposal process, or a firm you have audited and know is running on SharePoint folders.

Freelancers and contractors

Freelance proposal writers, bid managers, InDesign designers and interim marketing leads who move between firms and see the same problems again and again.

Typical referral: the firm where you just spent three weeks reformatting 80 resumes by hand.

Community and association leaders

Chapter leaders, board members and event organizers in groups like SMPS, APMP and ACEC, and people who run peer communities for proposal and marketing professionals.

Typical referral: a member who asked you after a session what system other firms use for resumes and project experience.

Flowcase customers

People who use Flowcase today, or used it at a previous firm, and get asked by peers how their team finds the right people and projects so quickly.

Typical referral: a former colleague who moved to a firm without a system, or a joint venture partner who saw your proposal output.

How it works

Simple on purpose. You make the introduction, we run the sales process, and you stay as involved as you want to be.

Most referrals start with a short note or a three-way email. From there, our sales team takes the demo, pricing and procurement conversations. We keep you updated on how it is going.

  1. Tell us who you have in mind

Fill in the short form below, or email us. A firm name and a sense of who leads proposals or marketing there is enough to start.

  2. We confirm it is a new lead

We check that the firm is not already in an active sales conversation with us. If it is, we agree a fair contribution fee instead. If it is an existing customer, it does not qualify.

  3. You make the introduction

An email, a call, or a mention at an event. We send you a short brief on Flowcase so you can describe it accurately, and we never ask you to make commitments on our behalf.

  4. Flowcase runs the sales process

Demo, pilot, pricing and security review. We keep you in the loop and will ask for your help only if it is useful, for example a reference call.

  5. You get paid when they become a customer

If the firm signs within 12 months of your referral, you earn a referral fee on their first-year subscription. It is paid out once they have been a customer for three months and their first-year fees are received.

Yes, you get paid

Flowcase pays a referral fee on every new customer you introduce. It is a share of their first-year subscription, and we confirm the exact amount with you before you make an introduction.

Request the program details below and we will send the fee structure along with the referral agreement.

How payment works

  • The fee is a percentage of the first-year subscription of any new customer you introduce. Larger agreements mean a larger fee.
  • The exact percentage is shared when you request the program details, and written into your referral agreement before any introduction.
  • Applies to new customers who sign within 12 months of your referral.
  • Paid after the customer has been with Flowcase for three months and first-year fees are received. You invoice us, we pay.
  • Covered by a short referral agreement and NDA. No exclusivity, no minimums, cancel any time with 30 days notice.

The fee is calculated on subscription fees actually paid, excluding taxes, refunds and unpaid invoices. Firms already in an active sales process with Flowcase are handled case by case.

What makes a good referral

Flowcase is the system of record for people and project experience at professional services firms. The best referrals share a few traits.

We work with engineering, architecture, construction, consulting, IT services and law firms. The sweet spot is firms with a formal proposal process, multiple offices and a few hundred to many thousand employees whose experience needs to be found and presented in every bid.

Signs they are ready

Resumes live in SharePoint or old Word files. Project descriptions are out of date. The proposal team rebuilds the same content for every pursuit. Someone has said the words "we need a better system for this."

  • Engineering, architecture and construction firmsFirms responding to RFPs and SF330s with named key personnel and project references.
  • Management and IT consulting firmsFirms bidding with consultant CVs and case studies across many service lines and markets.
  • Law and professional services firmsFirms that pitch on the strength of their people, matters and credentials.
  • Firms going through changeMergers, new proposal leadership, a rebrand, or a push to bring AI into proposal work. All of these raise the question of where the data lives.

Interested in making an introduction?

Tell us a little about you. We will send the full program details, a short brief on Flowcase you can share, and the referral agreement to review.

No obligation. Plenty of people sign up before they have a specific firm in mind, and reach out when one comes up.
