Future-Fit Sustainable Business

At Flowcase, our commitment to sustainability and responsible business conduct is at the core of our operations. As we strive to align with the Future-Fit Business Benchmark, we are also closely following the Norwegian Transparency Act, which is based on OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

Our approach

Transparency and accountability are cornerstones in today's business world. Through these principles, business can help promote a culture where social responsibility is in the center through healthy and sustainable operations, both for people and the environment.

Words from our CEO, Erling Linde

At Flowcase, we are committed to integrating sustainability into our core operations and decision-making.

By working with the Future-Fit Framework and adhering to the Transparency Act, we ensure that our practices are both responsible and forward-looking.

We believe that openness creates a safer and more predictable environment for our employees, suppliers, customers, and society as a whole.Sustainability is not a journey we take alone.

We are grateful to our customers, suppliers, business partners, and stakeholders for their continued trust and collaboration. Together, we can drive meaningful change and contribute to a fairer, more sustainable future.

How?
  • Flowcase as a Product
  • Flowcase Internally
  • Flowcase Externally

A future-fit company takes all goals into account, instead of selecting goals out of interest.

When

We kicked off our Sustainability action plan at our biannual company gathering in Italy in the fall of 2021. It was decided that we would focus on the following 5 SDGs: 3 Good Health, 5 Gender Equality, 9 Innovation and Infrastructure, 12 Responsible Consumption, and 13 Climate Action. The FFBS is very much aligned with the SDGs, but it means that we don’t get to pick and choose between them. Instead, we follow a strategy that makes sure that we integrate all SDGs related to our company.

Work remotely – or from the office

The importance of having a healthy work-life balance is hardly rocket science. And it is certainly something we take very seriously.

Technology lifecycle management

To do our daily work we are dependent on a certain amount of tech gear. So naturally, we created a policy for how to handle gear when it’s no longer working for us.

Flowcase internally

We strive for continuous improvement while maintaining effective measures for employee satisfaction and safety.

Flowcase externally

In the initial phases of grasping the Future-Fit Business benchmarks, we've realized that achieving a 100% fit might not be entirely within our control for certain benchmarks. To learn more about the reasons, continue reading.

“Ripples in the water”

Inspired by the advice given by the Future Fit Business organization, we have initiated a round of simple office and supplier assessments. For our suppliers, we asked “Do you have a sustainability policy?” - we have received affirmative answers from most of our suppliers, which is great.

Transparency

It is important for us to be able to show our existing customers, and potentially new customers, how we are committed to become a Future Fit Business. We want to be honest about what we are doing right now.
