We're introducing the Bid manager role now to prepare for future proposal functionality, including the Flowcase AI Proposal Assistant.

We've heard from our customers that:

• Bid managers need greater control over their company's proposals
• Administrators want to empower bid teams without granting full admin access

The Bid Manager role bridges this gap, giving your bid team members the permissions they need while maintaining appropriate access levels.

Bid manager capabilities

Users with the Bid manager role can:

• Read and edit all company proposals and their content
• Export all search result report types (CV/Resume reports, Reference project reports)
• This role can be combined with other roles (Department manager, Reference manager, Country manager, etc.)

Getting started

This role will be essential for utilizing our upcoming AI-powered Proposal Assistant functionality. Administrators can begin assigning the Bid manager role to appropriate team members in preparation for this release.
